Alessia Casarini Trygved – I grew up in a family passionate about the arts, surrounded by creativity. In the 1970s, my family ran an art gallery in Italy showcasing renowned international artists, which fostered my sensitivity to artistic expression from an early age. My career began in Italy with studies in graphic design, followed by specialized training in art restoration in Florence. I worked as a restorer for museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide. Through these diverse experiences, I gained a deep mastery of the techniques and materials used in classical painting. I have also collaborated with the Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen and the Brede National Museum in Denmark, as well as with private collections in Hong Kong and prestigious galleries and auction houses in London. I maintained a private studio in Copenhagen to develop my own artistic practice and create my own work. Alongside my artistic career, I earned a degree in psychology. This training enriched my perspective and gave me the ability to explore emotion and perception through painting. I currently live and work in Lausanne and Verbier, balancing city life with nature. My work seeks to unite technical mastery and emotional depth, offering a space where technique and intuition meet to create an internal dialogue.
